Lavon Lake is located in Wylie Texas and is about one hour and twenty minutes from Fort Worth. At 21,400-acres, it is one of the largest lakes in Texas, with and estimated 1.6 million visitors a year to enjoy camping, fishing, swimming, boating and other recreational activities. The predominant fish species in this lake are Largemouth Bass, White Bass, Blue Catfish, and Crappie.
